Phillips Find
Gold Project
The Phillips Find Project is centred 45kms north-northwest of Coolgardie, Western Australia and 25km NW of the Kundana Gold Mining Centre.
The project covers over 10 kilometres of strike over prospective greenstone stratigraphy and includes the Phillips Find Mining Centre (PFMC) where approximately 33,000 ounces of gold has been produced between 1998 and December 2015 from three open‐pit operations; Bacchus Gift, Newhaven and Newminster.
Exploration potential within the project is excellent with numerous targets defined by auger geochemical anomalism, aeromagnetic interpretation and drilling. Metal detecting over the past 25 years has yielded significant alluvial gold.
In 2018 Greenstone completed a 10,000m aircore program over the Truth prospect, a target identified by a convalescence of structural geology features, soil geochemical anomalism, and prospector mining from the alluvial cover obscuring the bedrock geology. Broad gold anomalism (>0.1g/t gold) up to 33m thick was encountered. The program identified and narrowed focus to several new high priority targets that require further infill drilling and testing below the weathering profile.
